Orders

You can order any of our catalog designs directly on this site. For custom orders we suggest that you start by filling out the custom request form and we will contact you within 2 business days, regarding next steps.

The minimum quantity for most of our catalog and custom orders is 50 cards. For designs that are more complex to produce or have hand applied elements, the minimum is 100 cards.

The obvious things that effect the price are paper type and the premium features that go into making your cards. Things that can quickly add to the price are: triple thick card stocks, unique formats, foil on folded cards, die-cut windows and hand painted edges.

Digital proofs for our catalog designs typically arrive in your inbox within 1-2 business days of your order being placed. Obviously custom designs will vary but we do aim to have the first round of proofs to you within 5-7 business days after receiving your order and getting input for the direction of your custom design.

Catalog orders typically ship within 5-7 business days of your proof approval. Any catalog design that has a minimum order quantity of 100, typically ships within 10-14 business days due to the more complex nature of these designs. Custom orders are closer to the 4-week mark, so please order early, especially those Holiday Cards.

Yes, but this varies from design to design. Typically we can change things like colors, fonts and photo count. If you have any questions about this please feel free to reach out before placing your order.

Catalog designs are done and ready for your personalization, these designs have quicker turnaround times and are typically more affordable. Custom designs are done completely from scratch, just for you; they are more expensive and take a bit longer to produce since we are starting from scratch.

The sky really is the limit here when it comes to what can be done. All joking aside the biggest limiting factor for most is always budget. The more popular add-ons they we tend to do for customers is: edge painting or gilding, foil stamping, unique die cuts and embossing. If your budget is big enough we can do just about anything. The reason why many of these finishes really add to the costs is that most are hand applied and therefore take a lot more time to apply, compared to just running paper through a press.  

This is really hard to say but on average the process usually takes 3-4 weeks. It all depends on how many rounds of changes we go through before nailing down a design you are in love with. Things like custom cutting dies and foil pressed dies will push your order closer to the 4-week average.

Our card kickstand design is a patent pending design that allows your flat cards to stand out and up, all on their own. Our kickstand cards are 50% card, 50% sculpture, 100% unique.

Please upload your photo(s) in JPEG or PNG format at the highest resolution (not to exceed 20MB per photo) that your camera or smartphone allows.

For designs that require only 1 photo simply upload as usual. If you need to get us 2 or more photos we ask that you simply place your photos into a compressed zip folder prior to upload. If you aren't comfortable with doing this or don't know how to create a zip folder, no problem, we can provide you with another method to get your photos to us. We often use Dropbox or Wetransfer which is much more efficient then sending large files via email. 

Yes, for an additional 20% of your total order. However during the month of December our rush service may not be available, due to the higher than normal demands put on our production and shipping partners.

Yes, this is a service we offer free of charge for all standard size envelopes.

If your order hasn’t been released for production, we should be able to make any necessary changes. Please contact us immediately and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

Pricing & Payments

All of our custom designs start with a $500 minimum for 50 cards. Prices go up from there based on quantity and complexity of your final design. Upgrades like laser cutting, custom die cutting, pressed foil and edge painting/gilding will quickly add to the final cost of your cards. 

Seeing if one of our existing catalog designs can work will always be your cheapest option. Oftentimes we can make enough changes to help make the design unique and personal to you. If this isn’t possible and custom is still the way you want to go then trying to limit the use of the following will help keep costs down: custom die cuts, pressed foil, edge painting/gilding and letterpress. 

We currently accept, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, JCB, Discover, Diners Club and Apple Pay.

Yes we accept Apple Pay.

Yes, sales tax will be collected on all orders shipped within the state of Illinois. Orders shipped outside the state of Illinois are exempt from sales tax.

Printing

Yes, return address printing comes included with all of our designs. We design and layout your return address to perfectly match your card. 

This varies from design to design, so please pay close attention to the PRODUCT DETAILS section on each of our product pages for this information.

Flat printing is essentially the combination of ink and paper, creating an image that is level with the surface of the paper. Offset printing and digital printing are often referred to as flat printing. 

Flat printing sits on the surface of the paper while pressed foil and letterpress get pressed into the surface of the paper.

Embossing and blind embossing are the process of creating a raised image or design in paper. Embossing uses ink while blind embossing used no ink, just the emboss.

Edge painting is the process of applying color to the edge of cards. This can be done to any card thickness but is more visible on thicker stock cards. Similar to letterpress and foil stamping, edge painting is another way to elevate your holiday cards, announcements and invitations.

Edge painting is exactly what it sounds like, paint applied to the edge of cards. Gilding is the process of applying a colored foil to the edge of cards, giving them a mirror like surface.

In most cases yes, we do print a small logo with our web address on the back of our cards. Sometimes there just isn’t a good place to put one, so in these rare cases no logo would be printed.
